  Age Friendly Cold Lake:
Empowering Seniors, Enriching Lives

At Age Friendly Cold Lake, we believe every senior carries a lifetime of wisdom, love, and resilience—and they deserve to live each day with dignity, comfort, and connection.

Our mission is to walk alongside older adults, supporting their independence while ensuring they feel seen, heard, and valued. Whether it’s help with housework, a ride to the doctor, or a warm conversation over coffee, we’re here to make life easier and more joyful.

Through our Link Worker program, we guide seniors through services tailored to their needs—from transportation and housekeeping to caregiver support. We also combat loneliness through programs like Feast to Friendship, Memory Cafés, and Death Cafés, where laughter, stories, and friendships are shared.

For those impacted by dementia, we offer twice-monthly programs, activity loaner kits, and a helpful Seniors Resource Library.

Age Friendly Cold Lake isn’t just a service—it’s a promise. A promise that no senior will be forgotten.

Together, we’re building a community where aging is celebrated, and every senior is empowered to thrive.
We acknowledge that we are on Treaty 6 Territory; the traditional and ancestral lands of the Cree, Denesuline, and homeland of the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 2. We acknowledge the many First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples whose footsteps have marked these lands for generations, including where we live, work, and play today.
We recognize that all Albertans are Treaty people and have a responsibility to understand our history as we journey towards reconciliation.
